General Info
Welcome to Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD's V5RC Push Back Challenge! We are excited to welcome teams from all across the region to the Nancy Watten Technology and Event Center! We are looking forward to a great day of competition and meeting new people interested in VEX Robotics. Be prepared with safety glasses/goggles, batteries, chargers, and your license plates.
Please read each of the following. Each of these will be adhered to with no exceptions

All attendees are expected to abide by the code of conduct

Although we don’t expect there to be any violations during the tournament, the EP reserves the right to disqualify any person(s) and ask perpetrators to leave the premises. .

All participants are expected to have the participant release form. (Spanish) on file prior to competing. Please verify that all your students have this form completed and it has been uploaded to your team’s account. These need to only be completed once per season for all events.
Concessions Available- CASH ONLY
TSA- Skills scores will be submitted for TSA. Please ensure your team is registered for TSA prior to competition, if you want to have your scores submitted.
We request that any team that would like to be considered for Judged Awards, such as Excellence, Design, Innovate, Think or Create, submit a physical copy of their Engineering Notebook to the judges by the deadline listed in the judging format section.

Volunteer
Volunteers are essential to a successful tournament. A tournament does not operate without our awesome volunteers. No prior experience is necessary. Please email Carrie Gooch to sign up.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of bad weather, updates will be made through email.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Refunds will be made minus the $5 REC processing fee.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
No refunds will be given.
Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.
The submission deadline will be 12:00 PM (noon) Wednesday, December 10th.
