General Info
Wallace State is excited to host the 2026 Alabama State VEX V5 Middle School Robotics Championship. We will release more information here as it becomes available.
Deadline to submit your team's digital notebook is noon, central time, Monday, March 2, 2026.
Submissions with a date/time stamp after this deadline will not be reviewed for judged awards, no exceptions. Physical notebooks will not be accepted on the day of the contest, no exceptions.

Volunteers are vital to making events successful. We greatly appreciate anyone who is able to attend the event to help it run smoothly. There will be more information posted by the registration open date. In the meantime, any volunteer queries can be sent to Terry Ayers at [email protected]
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of bad weather, this event is subject to being cancelled. A final determination on cancellation will be made noon on the day before the event is to be held. Notification will come through the email addresses posted in robotevents.com for the coach and assistant coach for each team. Please check your email routinely throughout the week prior to the event for updates.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner (EP) cancels the event:
Due to how REC Foundation payments are sent to Wallace State, we are unable to offer refunds to teams that have completed payment.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
We are unable to offer refunds for this event. Because of this, teams should wait to make payment until they are certain they can and want to attend while being mindful of the payment due date. Any team unpaid by payment due date will be removed from the registered team list without notification.
Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.
The deadline to digitally submit the engineering notebook with be noon, Central Time, Monday, March 2, 2026.
Submissions with a date/time stamp after this deadline will not be reviewed for judged awards, no exceptions. Physical engineering notebooks will not be accepted the day of the event.
