General Info

Welcome to the Second  Anual Connecticut High School V5 State Championships at the Wilton High School Field house This amazing event will bring together 84 teams from around Connecticut.

REFUND POLICY:
Refunds will be avialble to teams that request cancellation of registration 7 or more day prior to the event.  No other refunds will be processed. Refunds are processed by CTEEA not the REC foundation 

Hotel Blocks are being arranged and hope to have all blocks availabel for booking by December 1st.  Please check back for more information

Saturday, March 14th Tentative schedule 

  • 7:00 am doors open 

  • 7:15 to 8:30 Check in and inspection 

  • 8:30 to 9:00 Event meeting and opening ceremonies 

  • 9:15 to 11:30 Morning Match session

  • 11:30 to 12:30Lunch Break

  • 12:00 to 5:30 Afternoon Match session

  • Venue close at 6:00

 

Sunday, March 15th Tentative schedule

  • 7:00 am doors open 

  • 7:45 Connecticut Team Picture Main Fields (all teams please come to the main fields for a Connecticut Teams picture)

  • 8:15 to 11:30 Morning Match session

  • 11:30 to 12:30 Lunch Break

  • 12:30 to 2:00 Afternoon Match session

  • 2:15 to 2:30 Alliance Selection

  • 2:45 to 5:00 Elimination round and Awards

  • Venue close at 6:00

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of bad Weather changes to the schedule will be emailed to team contacts

Options 

1 Event opening may be delayed to allow for travel.

2. Event may be cancelled due to the weather.

announcements will go out by 6:00 am.  all teams are encouraged to use their best judgement when deciding to attend.

If the event is cancelled due to Weather or other issue.  Refunds less any event partner expenses will be processed by CTEEA.  Refund requests need to be emailed to [email protected]

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.
