Welcoming teams from all regions! This V5RC tournament takes place in Utah and may qualify Utah teams for our state championship.

Volunteer

To operate this event requires many volunteers. Teams are asked to help setup and/or cleanup where possible. If your team is traveling with individuals who would be available to volunteer during the event as well, please let us know.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Refunds will be available in case of emergency or if a blizzard truly prevents travel for your team.

Do NOT expect the event to be canceled due to normal winter weather. Not all teams will need to drive over the same mountain passes, and there are multiple routes to get here. We will do our best to still hold the event for any teams that can make it, even if there are storms in other areas.

Daytime travel is safer regardless of weather. If this requires planning to spend the night before/after, take this into account as you plan. Or at least make a contingency plan for your team to do so.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event, we will refund any advance payments.

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Judging Format

  • Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Please note that the submission deadline is scheduled ahead of the event date.
