General Info
Welcome to the 5th annual Ridgefield VEX Robotics Competition tournament! This event is open to all Connecticut Middle School and High School registered teams. This exciting event will bring together teams from around Connecticut. Our event is a qualifier for the Connecticut State Championship.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of bad weather or heatlh restrictions, changes to the schedule will be emailed to team contacts.
Possible options:
- Event opening may be delayed to allow for travel due to inclement weather.
- Event may be cancelled due to the weather or heatlh restrictions. There is no snow date for this event.
Announcements will go out by 6:00 am. All teams are encouraged to use their best judgement when deciding to attend.
Refund and Payment Policies
PAYMENT INFORMATION:
Please make all checks out to CTEEA.
REFUND POLICY:
Teams must contact the CTEEA at [email protected] for refund or question about refunds.
If the CTEEA cancels the event:
In the case of the event being cancelled by the CTEEA, refunds will be offered minus the Event Partner expenses.
If a team completes registration for the event, and then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Refunds will only be made available to teams that request cancellation of registration by Friday 11/14/2025 at 8:00am. No other refunds will be processed nor vouchers/credits issued for future events. Refunds will be processed by the CTEEA, not the REC Foundation.
Webcast
This event will be live streamed on the CTEEA YouTube channel and will also be available to rewatch after the event.
Judging Format
- All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
