Volunteer

Hi everyone,

We’re getting ready for the Indonesia VIQRC & V5RC Regional Qualifier 2025/2026 on 5-6 December at Sinarmas World Academy, South Tangerang — and we’d love for you to be part of it!

This robotics competition will bring together students and mentors from across Indonesia for a fun day of problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation. To make it all happen, we need the support of volunteers like you.

Volunteering is a great way to:

• Work alongside students and adults in an exciting, hands-on environment

• Learn about robotics and STEM (no experience needed!)

• Be part of a welcoming community that’s inspiring the next generation

Here are just a few ways you can help:

• Field Reset Crew – help students by quickly resetting the game field between matches

• Scorekeeper/Timer – keep track of scores and match time

• Team Check-In – welcome teams, help with registration, and answer questions

• Judge – talk with students about their engineering notebooks and projects

• Referee – watch matches and ensure fair play (training & certification available)

• Event Support – help with setup, cleanup, and keeping things running smoothly

Training & Certification:
No experience? No problem! We’ll provide all the training you need. For key volunteer positions (like Referees or Judges), there are also free online certification courses available, and we’d love to support you if you’d like to get certified.

• Time: 07.30-17.00 WIB

• Location: MSHS gym/Sports Centre, Sinarmas World Academy, CBD Lot XV BSD City, Jl. TM Pahlawan Seribu, Cilenggang, South Tangerang Selatan, Banten 15322

• Meals/snacks and shirts will be provided for all volunteers

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of an emergency or severe weather conditions, the following policies will be implemented:

Cancellation

• Extreme Weather: If the local authorities issue a severe weather warning or if conditions pose a safety risk, the competition may be canceled or postponed.

• Emergency Situations: In the event of an emergency (e.g., power outage, natural disaster), the event may be canceled or postponed.

Postponement

• Rescheduling: If the event is postponed, we will make every effort to reschedule the event as soon as possible.

• Communication: Participants will be notified of any changes through email or other communication channels.

Safety Protocols

• Evacuation Plan: We have an emergency evacuation plan in place. In case of an emergency, all participants will be guided to a safe location.

• First Aid: First aid kits will be available on-site. In case of a medical emergency, please inform a staff member immediately.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

No refund

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

No refund

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
