General Info

Thank you for registering for the The West Salem  VEX Tournament Held on December 6, 2025. This event will be held at West Salem in the commons area. Please enter through the front of our school off of Orchard heights, the double doors by the flag poles will be unlocked for teams to enter the building. 

After passing inspection teams will participate in Qualifying Rounds, Alliance Selection and Elimination Rounds.  There will also be a field open for Skills Challenge runs.  Teams will be limited to three Driving and three Programming Skills Challenge runs.

This tournament is a great opportunity for both beginner and veteran teams.

Volunteer

Contact Zachary Link ([email protected]) if you are interested in helping volunteers.  We can use referees, judges, field resetters, coordinators, and fields.  If you are interested in refereeing please complete the VEX Referee Certification online. Teams that bring volunteers can have a portion or all of their registration fee waved.

 

VEX U teams are welcome to complete VURC skills runs if they are volunteering!

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If bad weather is to occur, use your own discretion on attending the event.  If the event is canceled and we are not able to reschedule the event a portion of your fee will be returned to you.

Judging Format

 

  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline will be the same day that registration closes.  A judging table will be set up at the event in a secondary location. Teams who want to be interviewed will need to make time in their schedule to stop by. The Judging table will be closed during lunch
