General Info
NFHS Wolverine Robotics VEX V5 Robotics Competition Push Back will take place in our main arena (gym). There will be an attached map which shows where you can unload and park via email approx one week before the event. There will bleacher seating for spectators. Pits will be in our small gym for coaches and teams only.

Fields – We will have 2 match fields, 2-3 skills field / practice field. Practice fields will open at 8am. Your teams must have passed inspection to be on the practice field. Please have teams reset the field after they are done.

Pits – Each team will have a pit area with a table and four chairs. More chairs will be available if needed. Tables will have access to power strips, you may need to bring your own to extend the area. Each table will also have a trash can to help keep the space clean.

Restrooms are located outside the Gym toward the pool.

Displays and Monitors – There will be ClearTouch panels around the gym that will display the skills as well as upcoming matches.

Concessions- We will have a concession stand open in the TBD area that will open around 9am hosted by the NFHS Wolverine Cheerleaders.

Lunch will be from 12:30pm-1pm - you may bring your own lunch or support on of our NFHS Wolverine Cheerleaders by buying from their concession stand.

Snacks and drinks are allowed in the gym, however, please clean up after yourselves and if there is an accidental spill let someone know ASAP so we can get it cleaned up.

Experience level: No previous experience is needed for most volunteer positions, and you can even bring your kids for a family activity (for example, Field Resetter is an ideal position for young children). Referees and Judges do have age requirements, and are available in the Judge Guide and Referee Guide
Time Commitment: You can register for an entire day, or just a portion of the day as your schedule permits for most positions.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the case of bad weather, coaches will be contact by email or their provided cell phone number as soon as possible. If there is bad weather, the event will start at 9:30am and we will adjust the match schedule to end by 4:30pm. In the case of extreme weather, the event will be canceled and resheduled. This cancellation is at the discretion of the Event Partner as per our school closure protcol.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: we will try to schedule another date. If not other date is available a refund minus the $5 REC Foundation fee after we receive our event check from the REC foundation
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: no refund issued

Judging Format
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. The submission deadline is Monday January 26th @9am eastern time.
