General Info
V5RC High School "Push Back" tournament qualifying for South Florida Regional. Saturday, January 10th, 2026 at Itech@Thomas A. Edison Ed. Center, Miami FL 33127.
PLEASE arrive with Robots that are COMPETITION READY. Ideally, you should do a preliminary inspection of your own prior to arrival, using either the official V5RC Push Back inspection sheet or guidelines in the Push Back Game Manual
Parking is free, but it is a bit of a walk to the Media Center, so a cart for equipment is recommended. We have elevators
Lunch: Pre-Order sheet will be posted
Each Team should bring a 15ft (or longer) extention cord--power will be within 15 ft of each pit table for charging.

7:30 AM - Doors Open. Check In / Inspection
Check In until 8:30 AM (if you experience traffic, you MUST call Dr. Cash at 786.457.3094 to be included in match list)
Inspections until 8: 45 to 9:00 AM (Bring Robots ready to compete)
9:00 AM Skills Fields will be available
9:15 AM - Driver's meeting
9:30 AM - Opening Ceremony
9:50 AM - Qualifying matches begin
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM - Lunch
1:15 PM - Qualification matches resume
3:30 PM - Qualification matches end / Skills Field close at the end of last Qualifying Match
3:30 PM - 4:00 PM Alliance Selection
4:00 PM - Eliminations
5:00 PM - 5:30 PM Awards Ceremony

Refund and Payment Policies
Refunds will ONLY be issued if the event is cancelled. Refunds will always be $5 less than the registration fee, due to the non-refundable fees required by RECF.
IF you register a team, and later find they cannot attend, PLEASE contact Dr. Cash [email protected] as there may be waitlisted teams that will buy your spot from you.
The payment deadline for this event is December 31st. If you have not paid by this date, your team can be moved to the waitlist.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
