General Info
The Adirondack VEX V5 Push Back Qualifier will be held on Saturday February 7, 2026 in the Blue Gym at Queensbury High School.
A concession stand will be open from 10am-2pm.
There will be a designated spectator area.
We would appreciate any volunteers from the teams that will be attending this event!
Additional Info:
The $90 fee includes a pizza for each team registered. They will be delivered at approximately 11:30am-12:30pm and can be picked up at the registration desk.
Fields: There will be 2 competition fields, 1 practice field, and 1 skills/practice field. This will allow ample space to practice and skills will run for most of the day.
Pits: Teams will have a 6-8 foot table with at least 4 chairs. All tables will have close access to a power strip.
Judging: Judging will be ongoing throughout the qualification round.

Experience level: No previous experience is needed for most volunteer positions, and you can even bring your kids for a family activity (for example, Field Resetter is an ideal position for young children). Referees and Judges do have age requirements, and are available in the Judge Guide and Referee Guide
Time Commitment: You can register for an entire day, or just a portion of the day as your schedule permits for most positions.
Meals: Lunch is included for volunteers that volunteer for at least 2 hours.
Volunteer Positions Needed:
-Judges (no previous experience required) *All day commitment
-Referee/Scorekeepers (previous experience preferred)
-Field Resetters (no previous experience required)

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, the event partners will make every attempt to announce the cancellation of the event by 5pm the day before.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: a full refund of any funds received by the event partners will be issued to participating teams. Please know that funds that go to the REC Foundation and are not received by the event partners are not refundable.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: The event partners will make every attempt to honor refund requests if teams notify the event partners prior to 1/17/2026. If a team can be replaced with a waitlisted team, a refund will be issued.
Refunds cannot be issued to registered teams who fail to attend the event with no prior notification.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
