General Info

Come and enjoy the 2nd Annual Winter Classic at Applied Technologies. We are conveniently located in East Mesa near Mesa-Gateway Airport. Come and enjoy a day full of robotics with us.

Judging Format: In-person judging and in-person notebook submission. If your notebook is digital, you will need to bring a printed copy to the event. 

Please be sure to complete the online participation release form.

This will be a full in-person event. 

We are always open to volunteers! Please email [email protected] to be placed on the interest list and a Sign-Up Genius will be sent out as the event gets closer.

Scoring Referees must be 15+ and Judges must be 20+

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Event is completely indoors and no refunds will be given.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be issued less the $5 retained by the RECF.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

No refunds will be given

Lack of payment of teams by January 17 will result in the teams being moved to the waitlist.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
