General Info
Thank you for your interest in the Patriot Push Back Middle and High School Tournament hosted at Sullivan East High School of Bluff City, TN. This is the first hosted robotics tournament in the school's history, and we are excited to kick this off!
This tournament will have Qualification matches, Alliance Selection, and an Elimination Bracket. Skills Challenges will be available to teams. Skills will be closed during lunch and will end when qualifying matches end. Judging will be in person.
Please make sure all payments are received no later than January 16th, 2026. If payment is not received by this time, your team will be moved to the waitlist. If payment is received prior to the start of the tournament, you will be moved back to the tournament.
We recommend that you bring an extension cord and power strips. The pits will be located in classrooms or commons areas with outlets available. And don't forget your safety glasses.
We will be using the Smart Field control system, so make sure your robot brains are set up for that.
Parent seating may be limited as the main competition fields will be in the cafeteria.
We're looking forward to a great tournament!

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Sullivan County Department of Education will require the event to be canceled due to inclement weather. Please watch for an update from the event partner if the event must be rescheduled or canceled due to weather.
Covid -19 creates many questions for coaches and event partners. Please know we want students to be safe and healthy. If the event must be canceled due to the number of Covid-19 cases for the area, we will work to reschedule the event as soon as possible.
Your understanding during these difficult times is greatly appreciated.
Refund and Payment Policies
Refunds:
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Refunds will be issued if event is cancelled by EP. Refunds will NOT include the $5 processing fee collected by Robot Events.
If a Team completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Refunds will NOT be issued.
Payment Policy:
Due to the number of teams that register last season and either held their spots without payment or dropped out last minute, allowing little to no time for those spots to be filled, we are enforcing a new payment policy for all teams that register. This policy will be strictly enforced.
Early-bird Registration:
Teams that register during the early-bird registration period will be required to have a PO on file prior to standard registration. Teams that have not updated their account to "PO processing will be moved to the waiting list. The order must be marked as paid on Robotevents within 2 weeks of the registration date. Teams that do not have their payment posted within the 2 week allotted window will be moved to the waiting list (Note: Purchase order on file does not count as a paid in full status).
Standard Registration:
All registrations must have a PO on file within 2 weeks of registering for the event. Additionally, registration must be paid in full 2 weeks after the team is registered or immediately if afterJanuary 16, 2026, unless other arrangements have been made with EP. Unpaid teams will be moved to the Waitlist 2 weeks after registration and may be added back in IF there is room on the roster. If your registration payment process takes longer than two weeks, clear communication will keep teams from being moved to the Waitlist.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
