Participant Requirements

  • All participants must complete the Participant Release Form (required once per season and covers all events).

  • Robots must arrive Competition-Ready.
    Complete testing and repairs prior to the event.

 

Engineering Notebooks

  • Notebook submission deadline: January 7th, 2025 (one week prior to the event)

  • Submission method: Upload through RobotEvents.com
    No printed or physical notebooks will be accepted.

Each team must bring a minimum 15 ft extension cord
Power access is located within approximately 15 feet of each pit station.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of inclament weather that warrents a cancellation or rescheduling of the event, we will communicate alternative options with your team coach listed on RobotEvents. 

Refund and Payment Policies

Refunds will ONLY be issued if the event is cancelled.  Refunds will always be $5 less than the registration fee, due to the non-refundable fees required by RECF.

IF you register a team, and later find they cannot attend, PLEASE contact [email protected] as there may be waitlisted teams that will buy your spot from you. 

The payment deadline for this event is January 1st. If you have not paid by this date, your team can be moved to the waitlist.

All event decisions will be made in the interest of public health and safety. Public safety and Davie PD will be on site.

Travel Info

Please park in the Lower School West Parking Garage. 

Back in parking is prohibited, and you must pay for parking. Information on validation for parking will be made available before the event.

Use your GPS to search for NSU University School. This will take you to the main Circle for drop off only. Please park in the West Parking Garage.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Notebooks must be submitted by January 7th 2026.

Concessions will be on sale at the event, including pizza during lunch.

The NSU RecPlex (Rec Center) is a short 5-minute walk from where we are hosting our competition, and has options including a Chick-Fil-A and Starbucks. Including robot delivery from these resturants to the event location via the GrubHub App!

UberEats/GrubHub/DoorDash are readily available in our area as well!
