General Info
Ten Ton Robotics will host the BC Mainland V5RC Middle School Provincials at West Vancouver Secondary School.
This tournament is for V5RC MS teams only.
There will be expectations and safety requirements to comply with any safe practices for the school, the district and the province, in effect on the day of the tournament.

NOTE: There will be a concession stand in the cafeteria with snacks, drinks, etc. You may eat in the cafeteria, but there is no eating in pit area.

We will need volunteers to help run this event.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If the event cannot run because of weather or other event, teams will be contacted by email and if very last minute by phone.
Please make sure you have provided us with those current emails and numbers.
Refund and Payment Policies
Payment can be submitted the day of the event. If you withdraw less than one calendar week (latest by Saturday, Feb 28, 11:59 PM) before the event you will still be expected to pay the registration fee.
Teams are asked to bring cheques (made out to West Vancouver School District) or cash to the event and pay their fees at the registration desk when they arrive. E-transfers can also be arranged but a cheque or cash is preferred.

Travel Info
We are at 1750 Mathers Avenue in West Vancouver.
The event will be held at West Vancouver Secondary School in the Lower Gym.
From Mathers Ave, please drive down to the Staff Parking Lot. The entrance to the Parking Lot is at the West end of the main school building on Mathers Ave. After you park, please walk back up to Mathers Ave and enter the main building. You will be entering on the 3rd floor. Go down one flight of stairs to the 2nd floor, turn left, walk a short distance and you will see the lower gym is on the right side.
Upon arrival, when you register at the Registration Desk and pay the Registration Fee, you will be given your time slot for judging.

Judging Format
In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person on Sunday, March 8. Please submit the link to your Engineering Notebook on RobotEvents latest by 11:59 pm on Friday, March 6.
Judging – Each team will have 10 minutes (on a timer) to present to judges. There will be a schedule given to teams in the morning. See the Judging Tab for details.

Engineering Notebooks are due by Thursday, March 5, 10 pm PST.

In person judging the day of the tournament.
Each team will have 10 minutes (on a timer) to present to Judges.
Every team will be assigned a judging time when you register. Please make sure your teams know when their scheduled time is.
IMPORTANT: We will have an adequate number of time slots so that every team has the opportunity to be judged. Please arrive a few minutes early for your time slot for judging.
Food
A concession stand will be open drinks, snacks, etc. (No eating in pit area)
Pizza orders will be taken for teams in the morning on Sunday, March 8, if you would like to order pizza for lunch.
