General Info

Welcome to Hartselle, Alabama, the City of Southern Hospitality! The Hartselle Tiger Tounament will be held at Hartselle junior High School in the Pettey Center, behind the main school building. There is ample parking. The concesison stand will be open with hot food and cold drinks. 

 

There will be a total of three fields: two for matches and one for skills challenges. We hope you will join us for an exciting day.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of bad weather, the event will be reschedule if possible. First choice of reschedule will be to hold the tournament the following day if the weather and conditions allow.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

In the event of bad weather, the event will be held the following day.

If the Event Partner cancels the event for any reason other than weather, a refund will be offered minus the $5 REC Foundation fee.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

If a team's coach cancels or chooses to withdraw or not attend the event, a refund will not be available.

Judging Format

 Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
