General Info

This event will be hosted by LeTourneau University on the beautul Longview campus in the back gym of the Solheim Center. This tournament will be blended HS/MS V5.  Engineering notebooks will be judged beforehand so have your digital notebooks posted to robotevents by noon on Feb.2.

There will be a lunch break and students may eat in the school cafeteria for $6 via credit card, or there are many restaurants in the area.  Short campus tours will also be available during that time.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of emergency or inclimate weather, primary contacts will be notified as soon as possible regarding cancellations or rescheduling. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event a refund will be issued to the teams at the earliest possible time.

If a coach or mentor contacts the event partner to withdraw before January 24th a refund shall be issued, not including the RECF processing fee. 

If a team withdraws after January 24th, or is a no show on the day of the event refunds will not be issued.

we are planning to webcast this event and if it can be arranged, information will be sent out nearer the event.

Judging Format

  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. The deadline for notebook submission will be noon of Feb.2, 2026.
