General Info

Welcome to the Wawasee/Top Tier Robotics Push Back V5RC blended tournament! We hope to be hosting 36 teams at this event which will be a qualifier for the VEX Robotics Indiana State Championship. The event will offer the elimination tournament, plus the skills challenge. We will also be offering the Excellence, the Design, Innovate, and Judges Awards, in addition to the two Tournament Champions.

Our schedule for the day is approximately as follows:

8:00-9:00am - Team Registration/Inspection/Practice Matches
9:00-9:15am - Coaches Meeting
9:15-9:30am - Opening Ceremonies
9:30am-2:30pm - Qualifying Matches
2:30-3:00pm - Alliance Selection
3:00-4:30pm - Elimination Matches
4:30-5:00pm - Awards and Closing Ceremonies
5:00-5:30pm - Pack up and Depart

A welcome email will follow approximately 2 weeks prior to the competition with informatoion regarding food and other details.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of bad weather conditions or possible cancellations please visit the event on Robotevents.com where I will post updates about the event status as needed in the General description. Please feel free to contact me by phone (269)362-2213 if you are going to be late to the event. Match Lists will be generated as scheduled ( on agenda) and cannot be re-run. Refunds will be made in the event of a cancellation per the RECF refund policy.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Refunds will be issued in the case of an event cancellation (less a $5 processing fee).

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Please only register robot teams that intend to attend. Due to the limited space for events, we will not issue a refund for any other reason.

Payment Deadline is Jan 17, 2026.
Not paying by this date may mean that your team may be placed on the waitlist to make room for another team.

Judging Format

 

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
