Please note this is a UK ONLY  event.

This event is Bedford School's first V5 event with 16 teams available to compete.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: 

The Coach/Mentor should follow the REC foundation rules on withdrawing and changing teams. If the choses to withdraw, for any reason, after the registration end date, the Event Partner should be contacted as soon as possible to allow them time to offer the spot to a team on the waiting list.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

All teams will be contacted as soon as possible in the eventuality that the event needs to be cancelled due to weather.

Refund and Payment Policies

This is a free event. As such no refund will be offered for any travel costs you incur should the event be cancelled, postponed or relocated (for whatever reason).

Please consider this carefully before booking travel and accommodation arrangements. As mentioned in the Bad Weather policy, teams will be contacted using the details given on Robotevents or sent directly by the school to the Event Partner in the last week before the event.

Judging Format

In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews will be judged in-person the day of the event.

In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event.

Teams should submit their engineering notebook digitally if they wish to be considered for all judged awards. If the Engineering  Notebook is submitted digitally for evaluation  then a should be done via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. The submission deadline will be 22/01/2026.

Please note that due to the size of the event, all judging will be unoffical and not recongnised on RobotEvents.
