General information - PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS PAGE!

Thank you for registering for the V5RC Nationals Bahrain 2026. The tournament will be held on Feb 16, 2026 at Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel in Manama. Concessions will be available and emailed to you ahead of time.

Make sure you bring the appropriate chargers and extension cords - they will not be provided.

Engineering notebooks are due upon check-in.

Skills

Skills will be run as needed before the tournament starts and at lunch. Each team gets 3 skills runs per skill type. Due to skills being available, practice field time may be limited or not available so be prepared before you get to the tournament.

Rules, Regs, and enforcement

Make sure that you have read the rules before you come to the championship. Rules will be strictly enforced so here are some tips:
- Pre-inspect your robot to make sure it meets ALL rules
- Make sure you have team numbered plates for your robot - 2 blue and 2 red and visible for judges to see
- Know your scoring rules
-Each team may only receive one judged award (as per instructed at REC EP meeting) unless extenuating circumstances appear.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If the event is called off due to bad weather, the fees will be refunded within 2 to 3 months.

Refund and Payment Policies

There is no refunds unless the event partner cancels the event.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams can bring a physical copy or a softcopy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
