Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If weather causes travel delays or prevents teams from competing, a refund (less the $5 RobotEvents fee) may be available.  Contact [email protected] before the beginning of the event. Please make sure your team contact information is up to date in your RobotEvents.com account in case we need to contact your team prior to the event.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:  Due to the costs involved with this event, any refunds will be given after all the event expenses has been paid.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:  Only under extraordinary circumstances and at the discretion of the EPs will the team will be given a full refund (minus the $5 robotevents fee). Otherwise, no refund will be given.

Teams that have not paid by the deadline will be moved to the waitlist.

Health and Safety Policies

Any applicable health and safety protocols will be communicated within 2 weeks of the event, based on local health department guidelines

There are several safe and clean hotels located fairly close to the school.

4) Holiday Inn & Suites - 3927 Marriot Drive.

Don't forget to check out the Buck Owens Crystal Palace located just a short distance from these hotels! It is a piece of Bakersfield history!

At minimum, the matches will be recorded and posted to the CyberHawks YouTube Channel. Any livestream link is posted here as well.

Judging Format

•  All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams can bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges, no electronic copies will be accepted for this event. If a team has an electronic notebook, please print out a copy to turn in at check-in.
• Deadline for Design Notebook submission is 8:15am to be considered for related awards.
