General Info
Belmont Hill Robotics is delighted to be hosting the 2025 VEX V5 Robotics Competiton Push Back Tournament. This tournament will qualify teams for the Massachusetts State Championships. Our event is being held at the Jordan Athletic Center at 350 Prospect St Belmont, MA 02478. Using "Belmont Hill School Ice Arena" in Google Maps will bring you to the correct location.
The event date is: November 23rd 2025
Our event will be held on the second floor of the Jordan Athletic Center in the two large gyms. There is an elevator available for teams and attendees. The competition will be in the Fritz Gym, and the Pit area will be in the Blue Gym. Signs will be posted and teams will be directed upon arrival.
Ample parking is available at Belmont Hill School. Teams and those with limited mobility should use the area in front of the Jordan Athletic Center entrance to unload. Handicap spots are across from the main entrance. There is an elevator available for teams and attendees.
Lunch will be provided to student team members and their adult coach - please let us know the number of students ahead of time so we can order the correct amount of food.

If we don't have 16 registered teams, the day will likely be considerably shortened. The hope is to give each team two practice matches and six or seven qualification matches.
Teams will not be allowed to enter the venue before 8 am, and not without their on-site adult representative present to check the team in.

We are looking for notebook reviewers, in-person judges, and refs, as well as TM Support and most other roles!

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If venue is closed due to bad weather or any situation outside our immediate control and the event can not be rescheduled, refunds, minus event costs, will be issued within two months of event date.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event, then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Refunds (minus the $5.00 administrative fee retained by RECF) will be issued if teams withdraw before the close of registration. Teams that withdraw after registration closes or "no show" will not be issued refunds.

Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Submission deadline is Nov 14th at 3pm.
