General Info

NextGen Robotics Association is delighted to be hosting this V5RC Push Back qualifying tournament at Rice Middle School 

We will have two competition fields, one Skills field, and a practice field for our tournament.  

All team members attending this event are required to submit the online consent form through Robot Events

Doors will open at 7:00AM.  Registration and inspection will be from 7:15AM - 8:15AM 

Teams must pay before the event in order to participate in the event.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of bad weather, updates will be made by email. Please be sure the contact information for your team is accurate and up to date.

In the event that nature or some unforeseen circumstance cancels our event, we will try to reschedule for the next weekend. There are still no circumstances where refunds will be given. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be made less the RECF processing fee.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

No refunds will be made after Registration closes unless the event has been cancelled and can not be made up on the published makeup date.

Unpaid balances

Teams with unpaid balances on RobotEvents.com will be placed on the waitlist the week prior to event, unless they have made payment arrangements with the Event Partner.

Judging Format

  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. The submission deadline is EOD on Feb. 7.

By attending and participating in this event, teams, volunteers, and spectators acknoeldge that photography and video recording may occur for educational, promotional, and community engaginment purposes.

If a parent, guardian, or tem representative prefers that a specific participant not appear in publiched media, please notify the Event Partner in advance or contact us after the event, and we will promptly honor the request.
