Welcome to KSA VEX V5 Robotics Competition, Push Back 2025 - 2026!

The VEX V5 Robotics National Competition 2025 – 2026, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 3-4, 2026.  Participants this year will design robots for the Push Back Game. This event is open to the Saudi Arabia VEX V5 Robotics Competition teams, registered for the 2025 – 2026 season.

Skills Challenges will be available to all teams, with 3 Max Driver and 3 Max Programming attempts per team

Competition Preparation

This event is sure to be a fast-paced and exciting event! All teams should come prepared for the competition. Here are a few steps that every team should take to ensure that they are ready:

  1.   2. Check the official Game Manual for rule updates and changes here:

  3. Carefully read all of the information contained in the tournament posting on RobotEvents.com
  4. Pack for the event the day before your departure. Here are a few items that you don't want to forget.
    1. Spare parts & tools
    2. Batteries and chargers
    3. Programming cable
    4. Power strip
    5. Laptop computer
    6. Engineering notebook.
  5. Review the descriptions and criteria for the awards being given during the tournament.
  6. Prep for your interviews with the judges. Check the awards tab to see what awards will be given during the tournament.
  7. Remember that safety comes first; please only bring tools that pose a safety risk to your team or others nearby, as the venue is a very tight fit.

Volunteer

The KSA VEX V5 Robotics Competition Push Back​ National Event, which will be held on February 3-4, 2026, at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, is fully volunteer-run. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is well-known for its strong volunteering culture; everyone is welcome to help make this a unique experience for all participants and attendees.

Experience is optional for many volunteering positions. Some positions can be split between two adults for a morning and afternoon shift. Depending on the role, you can volunteer for a whole day. Lunch will be provided for all-day volunteers.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Teams will need to use their best judgment on safe travel and follow the authority’s guidance on travel in extreme weather conditions.

Refund and Payment Policies

The event is free of charge. No Refund is required.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
