Team Meeting: Our Head Referee and his team of scorekeepers are also VEXU competitors. They are very knowledgable and experienced, and will follow all RECF guidelines. Please keep the student-centered policy in mind and encourage students to advocate for their teams at the field based on their own knowledge of the rules, being ready to reference the game manual if needed. Judging Format
Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply. Please see the Remote Judging section of the Guide to Judging for more information.
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
Team Interviews will be in-person the day of the event. Interview times will be scheduled and communicated at check-in. The first two hours of the event is dedicated to skills + interviews. We found this schedule to be effective last year so that the teams had time to complete both since qualification matches move so quickly at a small event.
