  • Doors Open at 7:30 AM.
  • Enter through Door "F" (Facing US Hwy 6).
  • Bus and parking available in lot at Door "F".
  • Student waivers must be completed online.
  • Check in immediately upon entry.
  • Engineer’s Notebooks submitted at Check-in.
  • Indicate if your team wants an interview at Check-in.
  • Competition Arena’s located in PHS West Gymnasium.
  • Team Pits located in "B" main Hallways. (Different from the past.)
  • Skills will be located in the Gym Balcony. (Different from the past)
  • Full Concessions available. (Breakfast and Lunch items.)
  • Facility is ADA accessible.
  • Restrooms located near registration

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Tournament cancellation by the Host will result in a refund, less “event.vex” fees.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Refunds requested by teams will be issued on a per-situation basis and may be reduced based on competition expenses.  If granted, refunds will be processed 2 weeks after receiving payment through www.events.vex.com

Cancellation by a competing team must occur prior to Dec. 1st, 12:00 PM CST to receive a refund.

Health and Safety Policies

Simply put, if anyone on the team is ill or has symptoms of illness, please do attend the tournament.

Drive 7.5 miles East to Portage High School.

 

From the East:

US 30 West to IN 49 North @ Valparaiso.

Drive 6 miles West to Portage High School.

Judging Format

 

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
  • No Digital Notebooks. Print them out for a physical copy.
