General Info
Note: The payment deadline is a typo, payment is due the monday before the tournament (September 21st).
This is a scrimmage/collaboration day. A few years ago our students attended a collaboration day at Miller Grove, and were won over. That event really lit a fire in our freshman that year. Those freshman, now juniors, have been spearheading our collaboration day ever since.
Student will have time to network with others, build/work on thier robots, participate in student-lead stations including (but not limited to) Game/Strategy Discussions, Interviewing Skills, and "Journaling 101."
We will run a mock tournament complete with mock judging and interviews.
This will be a fun to day get to know other teams, share knowledge, and engage with the supportive and enthusiastic VEX Robotics community we have here in Region 2.

9:00 - All-Members Meeting
9:15 - Students break into Programmers, Drivers, and Builders for focus groups.
10:30 - Fields Open, Stations Open (Journaling 101, Interviewing Skills, Game & Strategy Discussion)
12:00 - Stations Close, Fields Close, 1 hr break for lunch.
1:00 - Mock Tournamet Sign Ups
1:30 - Mock Tournament Starts (3 qualification rounds per team, Top 8 teams direct to "semi-finals".)
4:00 - Event Closes

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of an emergency/bad weather, the event will be rescheduled for the following saturday.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
The event will be rescheduled for another date. In the event this is not possible, the buisness office will process refunds once the funds become availible minus the $5 fee charged by Global Robotics.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Cancelations prior to 2 weeks before the event will be processed by the buisness office once the funds become availible - minus the $5 fee charged by Global Robotics. Cancelations made 2 weeks or closer to the event will not reveice refunds.
