General Info
Dear all teams, coaches, and team leaders,
On behalf of China ROBOTC, a Signature Event Partner of this first class international robotics competition, I'd like to invite teams in your region to participate in the VEX Robtics iSTEMn Signature Event Championship.
China ROBOTC Academy is a VEX Robotics partner who host VEX Open （formerly VEX Aisa Open） and VEX hardware distribution in China since 2015. In addition, we also partner with Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy and Intel Corporation to deliver robotics curriculum, AI solutions and certification programs to educational sector of China.
The Event will be grandly held at YaoHu International Exhibition Center from December 17 to 20, 2026. It will gather VEX teams from all over the world, covering VEX GO, VEX AIM, VEX IQ, VEX V5, VEX U and VEX AI divisions.

World Championship Qualification Eligibility
Signature Events earn official World Championship qualification spots only after fully satisfying all published criteria issued by the VEX Robotics . Any non-compliance with such requirements could disqualify the event from receiving World Championship allocations, irrespective of previous arrangements or historical precedents.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Please pay close attention to the weather conditions and make preparations to keep warm. If you encounter an emergency, please dial 110.
Refund and Payment Policies
Terms and conditions:
1. 14 Days Before the Event: Full refund will be issued.
2. 7 Days Before the Event: A 75% refund will be issued.
3. 3 Days Before the Event: A 50% refund will be issued.
4. After December 15, 2026: No refund will be available.
5. Name Change: Registered Name changes can be made before the event at no cost. No change allow once the event start.
6. Refund Processing Time: Please allow 15 days after December 20 to process any refund.
7. Currency: All payments are to be made in US Dollars.
8. Payment Verification: Please provide the wiring document along with the team number as proof of payment and refund.
3. Payment Reminder:
To avoid any delays or misallocation, please ensure your team name and team number are clearly written in the payment remarks. This applies to all teams.
4. WeChat Account Requirement:
To ensure timely delivery of reconciliation sheets and official updates, each team must have one dedicated WeChat account. Official download & registration website: https://www.wechat.com/en/ Please set the display name to your team name + team number (e.g., "Team Alpha #1234"). If you don't have one, register via the official website with the specified display name format; if you already have one, rename it accordingly. One account per team only. Thank you!
If the competition is cancelled due to force majeure, the registration fee will be refunded.

Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
