General Info

Thank you for registering for the KAIAC 2026–2027 V5 Robotics League! We are excited to have your school participating this season. Our goal is to provide students with a positive, competitive, and collaborative robotics experience while developing engineering, coding, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

The KAIAC Robotics League consists of multiple league tournaments throughout the season, allowing teams opportunities to improve their robots, strategies, driver skills, and engineering notebooks between events. The season will conclude with the KAIAC Championship, where awards and advancement opportunities will be available.

Attendance & Registration

If your team becomes unable to attend a registered event, please notify league organizers as soon as possible so waitlisted teams may have an opportunity to participate. Teams are expected to attend events they register for and communicate any changes promptly.

Please note that teams must attend at least 4 of the 5 league events to be eligible for the top KAIAC season awards and recognition. Consistent participation ensures students have equitable opportunities to compete, improve, and contribute to the league throughout the season.

Event Expectations

To ensure events run smoothly and on schedule, all teams should arrive on time and complete check-in and robot inspection before the start of qualification matches. Teams arriving late may risk missing matches or inspection.

Students are expected to demonstrate professionalism, gracious sportsmanship, and respect toward competitors, volunteers, and officials throughout the season.

Event Layout

Each event will include:

  • Competition fields for qualification and finals matches
  • Skills Challenge fields (when available)
  • Team pit areas with workspace and access to power
  • Practice space (host site dependent)
  • Spectator seating (varies by venue)

League Schedule

The KAIAC 2026–2027 League Schedule and event locations are available through VEX Events. Teams are expected to participate in the required league tournaments leading up to the KAIAC Championship.
