Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the case of bad weather conditions or possible cancellations, please visit the event on events.vex.com, where updates about the event status will be posted as needed. Event Partners will also make every effort to reach teams directly in case of an emergency. Make sure your team contact information is up to date in your events.vex.com account, as this is the information used to contact your team. Teams should make sure their contact information on events.vex.com is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event,

The entire event will be canceled due to major factors such as natural disasters and weather factors. However, even if the cancellation of the event is approved, there will be no refunds as all event preparations will be borne by the event partners as fixed costs.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event and then chooses to withdraw or not attend, we do not issue refunds in these cases.

A financial statement can be found via email from the Taiwan National Championship Event partner. After the registration list of participating teams is officially listed on the events.vex.com, the event partners will sort out the participating teams, prepare a payment notice, and send it to the main contact person of the participating teams. The letter will contain the following information, including team registration fees, bank transfer information, payment deadlines, etc. Please pay attention to relevant information. Thank you for your understanding.

Teams that have not paid by the payment deadline will be moved to the waitlist.

Judging Format

The Engineering Notebook will be evaluated only on competition day.  Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link in the "My Account" panel of the team contact on events.vex.com. The submission deadline is 8 January 2027, 15:00 Taiwan Standard Time.
The Judge Advisor will download the Digital Engineering Notebooks for evaluation after the submission deadline, but will not prevent teams from continuing to update their Digital Engineering Notebooks.
Teams can participate in this event without an Engineering Notebook and still be interviewed, but the Team will not earn any top judged awards. For the most current award descriptions and judging criteria, please visit library.globalrobotics.org.
Late submissions or failure to submit the Engineering Notebook digitally will not be entertained. Please refer to the Refund Policy on Team withdrawal cases.

Team interviews will be conducted in person at the event. Each Team can bring their own physical engineering notebook as a presentation tool during the interview.
