General Info

Showdown at the Peak hosted by Bellefontaine City Schools, home of the highest point in Ohio, is excited to host our second tournament of the Override season and put on a High School Tournament of the Highest Quality.

 Matches & Judging:

  • Each team will have a minimum of 6 play-in qualification matches, the top teams will then continue in tournament play via 2-team alliances in a single elimination bracket.

  • Please familiarize yourselves and your teams with the V5RC Override Game Manual

  • In-Person Judging (see Judging Format page for more details)

Food:

  • Lunch will be provided to all participating teams. (Pizza, Bottled Water)

  • Concessions will be available for a variety of items.

  • Advisors and Volunteers will have access to a hospitality suite.

Miscellaneous Information:

  • All pit tables will have access to power.  Please bring a surge protector/power strip to make sure you have enough outlets for your team

  • We will try to have a dedicated Wi-Fi network available for teams to access during this event.  Please check to make sure your technology is set up to access connectivity while you are away from your building.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of bad weather, we will make every attempt to contact all coaches by email, phone, or text, as well as make announcements through social media of any changes of the event or the event schedule.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

We will try to reschedule but will not be able to issue any refunds due to the cost of putting on our event.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

There will be no refunds for individual team cancellations.

Judging Format

  • All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
