This event size is 48 teams

Since our first event in 2012, the Hereford Zone Robotics Annual Stampede Robotics Event has become one of the premiere early season competitions.

As in the past, the event will be held at HEREFORD MIDDLE SCHOOL Address: 712 Corbett Rd, Monkton, MD 21111 December 5th

Doors will open at 7:00AM with registration and inspection 7:30AM - 8:30AM. As we have a very full event teams not registered and inspected by 8:30AM will not be added to event. Please plan on arriving by 7:30 to allow time to set-up.

 Event will start at approximately 8:45

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If we have bad weather from our school system, Baltimore County Public Schools, that causes the event to be cancelled, we will refund teams.

If possible, we will have a make-up date and communicate that as soon as possible.

Our weather postponement date is February 14, 2026.

This is the only free weekend with out v5 event conflicts.
We also have many resources going to VEXIQ events so those were also avoided.

IF your team cannot do the Feb 14 date, we will work on a refund.
 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

If we have bad weather from our school system, Baltimore County Public Schools, that causes the event to be cancelled, we will refund teams.

If possible, we will have a make-up date and communicate that as soon as possible.

 we will refund the team if your team cannot attend the makeup date.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

 We will refund the team if the team cancels at least 7 week days before the event.  We need the time to contact the next team waiting and complete their registration.

Parking is available in the front and rear of the building.

Also, depending on weather, we will open overflow parking next to the tennis courts at the front of the building.

Judging Format

IF we do have judging,
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
