Welcome to Vietnam Signature Event: New Year's Mayhem : Season 26/27, Vietnam's V5RC first Signature Event.
This is our second year!
Let welcome and celebrate the lunar new year with inovative robots, rivalry, dynamic energy and sportmanship at New Year's Mayhem. Held in Saigon South International School of the vibrant city of Ho Chi Minh, New Year's Mayhem welcomes 70 HS teams from across Asia and beyond to compete in a thrilling three-day tournament as well as participate in skill challenge filled with excitement and energy.
This event is open to high school teams and will provide a skills challenge. . The main event will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday with qualifications and skills, followed by alliance selection and elimination matches on Sunday.

Important Notes:
Late Arrivals: Teams must be checked in 60 minutes prior to the start of the practice matches so that the match schedule may be printed.
Food: Team are free to order outside for your favorite food, and the school cafe would also provide drinks and snacks for sale.
The deadline to submit a Digital Engineering Notebook is 15-Jan-2027, 12:00PM (GMT :+7)
Teams are required to complete the Consent Form within at least 7 days after registration (Check out this article from Global Robotics and Science Foundation for more details).
*World Spot Eligibility:
Signature Events will be awarded World Championship qualification spots if they meet all established criteria set forth by the Global Robotics and Science Foundation committee. Failure to fully comply with these criteria may result in the event being ineligible to receive World spots, regardless of prior expectations or historical precedent

Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
We would send out a form for all team to submit the transfer information so that we could fully refund the event registration fee. Please help fill out the form, the estimated working time for our finacial department would be 30 working days. We thank you very much for your patient
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
For local teams in Vietnam, our school is not able to issue a red invoice for registration fee, we can only issue receipt , the estimated time is 14 working days.

TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION
Please send us information of your team (coaches and students name, team number and team name) to [email protected] & [email protected] for entrance registration.
Teams are required to make their own arrangements for travel to and from Vietnam, as well as for accommodation during the event. Our school can support to reccomend some local hotel and transportation methods, please help send us an email if you need assist in finding local hotels and transportation
Judging Format
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
- The deadline to submit a Digital Engineering Notebook is 2027 January 22th 12:00PM (GMT :+7)
