Volunteer

Volunteer roles include:

Event Set-up: Friday evening
-
Event Take-down: Saturday evening

Field Resetting: Help reset the field between matches

Scorekeeper Referee: Record match scores and assist with match operations

Head Referee: Oversee match rules and ensure fair, consistent gameplay

Judge: Evaluate teams based on their presentations. Priority to volunteers who are not parents of competing teams.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Teams will be notified at their registered email address in the event of a schedule disruption, change, or cancellation.
Refund and Payment Policies
Canadian Teams: Cancellation - Teams can cancel with 1 week notice. Teams that cancel with less than 1 week notice, will be billed for the full cost of the event.
USA Teams: Cancellation NOT allowed - Teams should only register when they are ready and 100% will attend.
Under limited circumstances PYRS will review on a case-by-case basis.
Payment Methods: Cheque payable to Pacific Youth Robotics Society or Cash

Judging Format
In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews will be in-person the day of the event.
Digital submission of Engineering notebooks.
Engineering notebooks must be submitted online via the link in your VEX Events team profile account. Due by 10:00pm November 26th.
