General Info
The Akron Roobotics team is excited to present the Rubber City Rumble VEX V5 Robotics Competition™ Tournament at the University of Akron! This event will showcase 4 fields, 2 fields for the competition, 1 skills field, and 1 practice field and will run simultaneously with a VEXU competition.
Lunch will be provided for the teams and a hospitality room will be provided for coaches, advisors, and volunteers.
No concessions will be available outside of the provided lunch, however the venue features resturants such as Chick-fil-A and Dunkin Donuts.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
The event will be hosted as long as the university is open. Coaches will be notified if the university is closed due to inclement weather.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: Refunds will only be issued if the event is cancelled.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: Refund will be given if we are able to replace your team only if the event is full.

Travel Info
Free parking is provided in Lot 34. This lot will be first come first serve. There are 318 total spaces. If you arrive and Lot 34 is full, unfortunately parking will be $11.00 and can be bought using this link: https://akron.thepermitstore.com/purchase.php Permits bought using this link will allow you to park in any other university lot (we suggest Lot 37 as it is the closest lot to the student union).
Dropoff will be in the loop in front of the Jean Hower Taber Student Union.
Buses will park for free in Lot 9 by InfoCision Stadium.

Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
*Important note* Please come prepared with your notebooks printed. We will not be printing any team's notebooks on the day of the event.
