General Info

The Northwest PA League is hosted at Fairview High School and will feature 2 competition fields and 1 skills field. This event is open to all Western PA teams. We plan to run 4 qualification matches per team per night.  This will be a relaxed environment on match nights so that teams can have a chance to play matches, run skills, AND network with other schools.

A Vex League is something new in this area. Think of a League as stretching out a Qualifier over multiple sessions. The Qualifying Sessions will be the round-robin match play that we are used to seeing during a qualifier, just spread out over different dates. Teams' rankings will be carried from the previous session. There will be a Final Session, which will function as the alliance selection and elimination matches at the end of a qualifier. If a team wants to be eligible for the Final Session, they must compete in at least 3 of the Qualifying Sessions. Skills will be offered at each session, and judging will happen on the final day.

Concessions will be available.  It is ok to bring your own food as well.  There will be no break during qualification matches for dinner.

The League will consist of four qualification sessions and 1 tournament session. The fourth qualification session and final tournament session will be on the same day.

Qualification Session 4 and Final Tournament:  February 15th, 2027,  from 7:00 am - 4:00 pm  (Judging and Finals)

To qualify for the Final Session, a team must compete in at least 3 qualification sessions.
