Cuộc thi VEX V5 - Giải Vòng loại Khu vực miền Bắc là một trong những giải đấu chính thức thuộc hệ thống Giải Vô địch Quốc gia Việt Nam VEX Robotics 2027, được tổ chức nhằm tạo sân chơi học thuật về robotics dành cho học sinh yêu thích STEM.

Giải đấu mang đến cơ hội để các đội thi vận dụng kiến thức về khoa học, công nghệ, kỹ thuật và toán học (STEM) vào việc thiết kế, lắp ráp, lập trình và vận hành robot nhằm giải quyết các thử thách theo luật thi đấu quốc tế của VEX Robotics. Bên cạnh việc tranh tài, các đội còn được rèn luyện kỹ năng tư duy phản biện, làm việc nhóm, quản lý dự án, giao tiếp và giải quyết vấn đề – những năng lực thiết yếu của công dân trong kỷ nguyên số.

Đây cũng là vòng đấu tuyển chọn các đội có thành tích xuất sắc để giành quyền tham dự Vòng Chung kết Giải Vô địch Quốc gia Việt Nam VEX Robotics 2027, tiến tới cơ hội đại diện Việt Nam tham gia Giải Vô địch Thế giới VEX Robotics (VEX Robotics World Championship).

VEX V5 Competition – Northern Regional Qualifier is one of the official competitions in the VEX Robotics Vietnam National Championship 2027. The event is organized to provide an academic and competitive platform for students who are passionate about robotics and STEM.

The competition gives teams the opportunity to apply their knowledge of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to design, build, program, and operate robots to solve challenges in accordance with the international competition rules of VEX Robotics.

Beyond the competition itself, teams will develop essential skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, project management, communication, and problem-solving—key competencies for students and future citizens in the digital age.

The event also serves as a qualifying round, where high-performing teams will have the opportunity to advance to the VEX Robotics Vietnam National Championship 2027, and potentially earn the opportunity to represent Vietnam at the VEX Robotics World Championship.
