Welcome to the Blended | Thailand VEX IQ Northern Regional Qualifier 26-27 : VEX IQ Robotics Competition™ - Hosted by SISB CNX and ECU

We are pleased to invite you to the Blended | Thailand VEX IQ Northern Regional Qualifier 26-27 : VEX IQ Robotics Competition™ - Hosted by SISB CNX and ECU, which will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Singapore International School Chiangmai (SISB Chiangmai), Chiang Mai.

This official regional event is part of the qualifying path toward the Thailand National Championship in January 2027 and ultimately, the VEX World Championship.

Please note: To qualify for the Thailand National Championship, teams must participate in and qualify through at least one Thailand official qualifying event. The Thailand Regional (North, Northeast, Central) series by Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) is one such qualifying event  pathway in Thailand.

• Registration Deadline: September 3, 2026
• Registration Fee (payment must be completed through Google Form): 5000 baht
• Event Dates: September 12, 2026
• Location: Singapore International School Chiangmai (SISB Chiangmai), Chiang Mai

 

Registration​ Requirement: Step-by-Step

All participating teams must complete registration with both events.vex.com and Google Form by the deadline and comeplete the payment within 7 days of registering on events.vex.com:

1. Register on events.vex.com

• Register your team with the events.vex.com to obtain an official team number and name, or renew your existing team number.
• Register for the event under the appropriate grade level.

2. Complete Google Form Registration and Payment within 7 Days

• Complete registration and payment, please fill out form at: https://forms.gle/Fpg71nS21TdWoyCq7
• For Schools: The institute will issue an invoice to the school for direct payment.
• For Individuals:  Please make the payment by bank transfer and upload the proof of payment in the form, a receipt will be issued once the payment is verified.

Important: Teams that do not complete payment through google form within 7 days of registering on events.vex.com will be moved to the waitlist and their spots may be offered to other teams on standby.

 

Judging Information:

1. In-Person Judging: Engineering Notebooks & Team Interviews

• All In-Person Judging: Team interviews and Engineering Notebook evaluations will be conducted in person on the day of the event.
• Digital Submission: Teams are required to submit a digital copy of their Engineering Notebook by September 3, 2026.
• Physical Copy Requirement: Teams must bring a physical copy of their Engineering Notebook to submit to the judges during robot inspection.

Important: Teams that do not provide a physical copy of their Engineering Notebook will not be considered for any Judges Awards (Excellent Award, Design Award, Innovate Award, Judges Award, Energy Award, Inspire Award and Sportsmanship Award).

Weather and Emergency Updates:

Teams are advised to monitor ALL Robotics Thailand Facebook Page or events.vex.com for weather or emergency-related cancellations. If the event is canceled or postponed, the event name will be updated accordingly, and additional information will be sent via email.

 

Refund and Payment Policy:

Refunds will not be issued for this event, except in the case that the Event Partner cancels the event.​
If the event is cancelled by the Event Partner, registered teams will be eligible to receive a refund.
Please note: Registration fees are non-refundable in the event of a participant's cancellation or failure to attend.

It is the responsibility of the registrant to contact the event host to cancel their registration and request a refund. Refunds are at the sole discretion of the event host.
Please be aware: Refunds may not be available for withdrawals made close to the event date, as costs may have already been incurred or vacant spots may be difficult to fill.
