Divisions

There will be two divisions: Blue and Gold

There will be bleachers, competition fields, practice fields, skills fields, and team pits for each division. The competition area sits between the sets of bleachers and the pits are behind each set of bleachers. Each division will have practice fields in it' respective pit area.

Teams are randomly assigned to divisions. If your school has multiple teams, it is very likely that you will have teams assigned to compete in opposite divisions. The divisions each have their own set of pits on opposite ends of the gym. Therefore, teams should plan to bring tools and supplies for each team competing.

Team Pit Area

Pit tables will be assigned. You will have one, 2 x 6 table.
One electrical outlet will be provided per team table in the pits.
Teams responsible for the multi-power strip, an extension cord, battery charger, and computer. Make sure your charger and batteries are identified.
Safety Glasses must be worn in the pit area and when driving or coaching during the matches. Please remember to bring Safety Glasses for each member, coach, family and friends.
We will have practice fields set up in the pit area.

Lunch

There will NOT be a Concessions Stand, teams are encouraged to bring their own food and snacks to the event.

No electric CrockPots/warmers or sternos will be allowed at the event.

Judging

Engineering Log Books must be turned in at check-in.

Judges will visit the teams in the pits

Teams will also be observed during the event.
The Decisions of the Referees and Judges are final.

Skills

The Robot/Programming Skills field (rules may be found in Appendix B) will be open as noted on the schedule. They will end 6 matches before the end of the Qualification Rounds (Total Matches - 6). It will operate on a first-come-first-served basis. These competitions are optional, and it is your team's responsibility to complete them. You will be allowed three runs for each of the competitions. If there are teams in line, you must go to the end of the line for a second run.
