General Info

Welcome to the BC MS Last Chance Qualifier hosted by Roboplanets 

This last chance tournament are intended for MS teams who have not qualified for the BC Mainland Provincial Championship. This designation is a coaches agreement between coaches in PYRS/Lower Mainland. This hopefully gives all teams an opportunity to compete and qualify for the provincials.

This tournament will offer skills in the morning only. Teams are encouraged to check-in and pass inspection promptly so that they can complete their 3 driver and 3 programming runs before qualification matches begin.

This tournament will also offer judging. Teams are encouraged to come prepared with their engineering notebooks. Teams will need to sign up for their judging timeslots upon their arrival.

Volunteer

Volunteers will not be required. 

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of an emergency/bad weather, the tournament will be postponed/cancelled and teams will be notified via phone/email. 

Refund and Payment Policies

All refunds are reviewed on a case by case basis. 

Health and Safety Policies

  • All participants, volunteers, and coaches will be asked to keep their masks on at all times during the event.
  • Vaccine passports will be required for all partipants, volunteers, and coaches aged 12 and older. 
  • Hand Sanitizer stations will be set up in the pit area and at the queing tables.

Parking is available at the building, the location of the venue will be on the second floor beside Wasuta pasta.

Currently there will be no webcasts provided. 

Judging Format

 In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
