General Info

Welcome to Colts Neck High School VRC - Over Under Competition 2023/2024. We are very excited to host again this year!  Plenty of parking is available onsite.

The Front Entrance of the school building will be open, banners will help to show the way in.

Please make a note: 6-8 Students are allowed per team at our event.

Safety goggles are a must for all on the drive team. Please label them if you can. Please label all your equipment as well so in case you leave it behind we can make ensure you receive it. 

Maps with teams' names and numbers will be emailed out one week prior to the event.  Please make copies if you can of the same and share it with your teams.

Agenda

7:30 Doors open for teams to prepare for the event

8:00 Inspections begin 

9.00 am to 2.00 pm  Ongoing Judging Begins 

8:15-9.30 am  Skills start but will be ongoing till the last qualifying match. 

9.30 am to 10.30 am - Opening Remarks/ Driver Meeting. 

10:45-2:30 Qualifying matches

12 pm to 2 pm - Ongoing lunch in designated areas only. No food is allowed in the Fields Area. 

3:00-4:00 Elimination rounds / Awards

4:30 pm - Doors Close for Teams.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

There is no planned snow date for the event. In the event of snow, we will update this tab as we get closer to the event.

Refund and Payment Policies

There will be a full refund only if your school has Covid Driven Issues and they don't allow your attendance at the competition in person. There will be no other exceptions for refunds at this time. 

 

Judging Format

  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
