Thank you for your interest in participating in Windsor Charter Academy's Firebird Challenge!
***We are in need of 3 fields and 2 VEXnet field controller kits. Any teams that can bring a field will receive a free team entry. Please email Casey ([email protected]) if you can help.
If the event is "full" and would like to participate, please put your team in the waitlist. We will place waitlisted teams into the event on November 18th to fill any unpaid spots.
This tournament will have qualification matches, alliance selection, and an elimination bracket. Skills challenges will be available to teams once they have passed inspection, until 2:00 p.m.
There will be a one hour lunch break. We will be taking pizza orders for teams wishing to have pizza delivered. Concessions will also be available throughout the tournament.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
We will follow the inclement weather policy of our local district and reserve the right to cancel or reschedule for weather at the discretion of our school administration team.
Refunds (minus a $5 administrative fee) will be given if the tournament is cancelled.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: Refunds (minus a $5 administrative fee) will be given if the tournament is cancelled.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: A refund will be issued ONLY if we are able to find a replacement team.
The payment deadline for this event is November 18th. Teams not paid by this date will be moved to the waitlist, and their spot given to another team.

Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
