Welcome to the Brooks Robo Rumble!
Please come prepared for the event by reviewing the game rules and the inspection checklist. 7:30 AM Doors open and inspections begin
- At registration, teams will need to turn their engineering notebook (if they have one to present) for Judging
- Make their intentions known regarding participation in the Skills Event
7:45 AM Inspections Open
8:30 AM Inspections Close
8:45 AM Drivers Meeting
9:00 AM Competition, Skills, and Judging begins
12:00 - 1:00 PM Lunch Break & Skills - Must register for Skills during Check In
1:00-2:30 PM Preliminary rounds, Skills, & Judging continue. Skills competition closes at the end of quilifying rounds.
2:30 PM Alliance selection.
2:45 PM Elimination rounds begin.
3:45 PM Tournament Concludes and Awards Ceremony begins.
4:00 PM Conclusion of Tournament
Volunteer
Volunteers are welcome to assist. We will provide training for those helping with the event. Student volunteers will be used for field reset. Contact Mark Smith at [email protected] for more information.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, a decision will be made to either reschedule or cancel the event.
Refund and Payment Policies
No refunds will be issued unless the event is cancelled due to weather and cannot be rescheduled.
If the event is cancelled, the $5.00 REC administration fee is non-refundable.
The payment deadline is Wednesday, November 15th. Teams registering after this date must pay at the time of registration. Any team who has not paid by this date may be moved to the waitlist and their spot given to another team.
Health and Safety Policies
We will follow any health and safety guidelines required by Wichita Public Schools for this event.
No grinding of parts or other actions that create sparks will be allowed in the gym.

Travel Info
All participants and spectators should enter the through the front door from the main parking lot on the east side of the building. off of Texas Ave (north side of the building). Buses should park in the main parking lot on the east side of the building.

Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
