Volunteer positions include but are not limited to:

Field Set-up, Judges, Referees, Team Check-ins, Skills Field Manager, Cueing, and take down.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In case of bad inclement weather, the teams will be contacted by email the night before to notify the teams of the cancellation.  

The event can be rescheduled but exact date will be announced on the email of the cancellation.  

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

In case of inclement weather or any other reason for the Bryant Battle Tournament to be cancelled, refunds can either be applied to another tournament or refunded.

The $5 fee assess by RobotEvents is non-refundable.  So refunded amount will be $5 less per team.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

There is a lot of planning that goes into a tournament and many teams that want to attend.  If a team registers for Bryant Battle, then that team has a reserved spot.  They are responsible for registration fees and attendance.  If the team has extenuating circumstances, please contact the Event Partner to discuss the options.

NO team will be able to withdraw after February 8, 2024 because their reserved spot will not be able to be filled.  

Judging Format

As the season progresses, the Judging of an event may need to be changed to keep up with the changes REC recommends.  This tournament is a preparatory event for the State tournament and many policies that need to be implemented at the State tournament may need to be implemented here so that there is less confusion for the State tournament.  I will make sure to keep you informed as the Bryant Battle tournament gets closer.  Pleae familiarize yourself with the options and plan for options; All In-Person Judging and Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews.  

The Judging for this event will be as follows:

•  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline for the notebooks will be at least one before the competition.
