General Info

 

Welcome to the University of Delaware VEX Robotics Competition! We will have two competition fields and one skills field.  Judged awards will be distributed at the end of the event. A pit table will be provided. Teams will be contacted closer to the competition to see if they want to order pizza for their team. 

Note: We are in need of two complete sets of game elements and one field for this event. The registration for that team(s) will be waived. Contact the Event Partner if you are interested in this.

Volunteer opportunities may be available/needed for judging or field reset if willing advisors or families attend. 

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

March 1st will be the contingency date in the event of an emergency or inclement weather. If the condition persists on March 1st, the event will be cancelled and registration refunded.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Registration will be fully refunded

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Registration will be fully refunded if cancelled prior to 7-Feb-2026. ​

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In-Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Please submit digital notebooks by 3pm EST FEBRUARY 21st, 2026.
