8:00am doors open / teams check in / fields open for practice

8:30am inspections & judging will start

9:30am Event meeting

9:45am - 12:00pm qualifying matches will start

12:00pm - 1:00pm lunch break

1:00pm - 2:15pm qualifying matches will resume

2:30pm - 3:30pm elimination matches

4:00pm - 5:00pm semi-finals and finals

5:15pm - 5:45pm award ceremony

*Please keep in mind to show up on time for your matches so we can stay on schedule 

Volunteer

If anyone is interested in volunteering for community service or for fun please reach out to Adam Marzak at 347-586-6744 prior to the event to discuss what you will be helping with. 

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of impeding, bad weather, Vaughn College robotics club will collaborate with the college and other event partners to determine if the event can be held on the regularly scheduled date and time. If the event cannot continue on its original schedule, every effort will be made to either the keep the event on the same day with an adjusted schedule or reschedule the event to a different date and/or location. Update will be provided via email and posted to the event webpage on robotevents.com as well as on our Instagram page VCAT Robotics. 

Refund and Payment Policies

A full refund minus the administrative fee will be refunded if the event partner cancels the event.

 A full refund will be offered up to two weeks before the event. No refund will be issued after Jan 24th, 2026 if a team/coach decides to to withdraw from the event.

Judging Format

Hybrid Judging - The Team Interviews will be in-person the day of the event. The notebooks will be digitally submitted.
