JROTC Live Remote Skills Event Sept 22nd
This event is part of our bimonthly JROTC Live Remote Skills events.
When teams regiser they will receinve an automated signup link to signup for a time slot on ONE of the two nights. One time slot per team per month.
This event will give out JROTC teams a place to play and learn. The more you participate the better you will be. Iteration is the key to great robots. Take advantage of a opportunity to test your robot out with a world’s level head ref. This years JROTC National Championship will be in late January so plan ahead and be ready. JROTC Live remote skills will end in December!
We are charging a small fee for the live remote skills this season. ARMY JROTC, YOUR ENTRY FEE HAS BEEN PREPAID FOR YOU SO PLEASE DO NOT PAY. I WILL MARK YOU PAID ON MY SIDE. IF YOU DO PAY ON ACCIDENT THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS. All other branches, you will have 3 weeks or Event Day, whichever time frame is smaller, to pay the registration fee. Unpaid teams will be moved to the waitlist.
On the days of the event we will have time slots scheduled every half hour all afternoon and evening. Teams will be able to choose preferential time slots by filling out the Sign Up that is emailed to them after they register for this event. If the form is lost or if you need to reschedule please inform the EP at [email protected]
You will be sent a link to a signup.com form when you register. Please choose a time slot then. robots will be remotely inspected and you will have time to run your driver control and programming skills matches. Please be on time. We will have other teams login in right after you to do their matches.
You will need to have a full field set up and ready with a live web cam that can see the entire field as well as the driver station. Be sure this is all setup prior to logging in for your scheduled session.

You have 3 Weeks or until Event Day, which ever time frame is less, to pay the registration fee for the event. If unpaid your team will be moved to the waitlist

Judging Format
Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply.
- No Judging
- All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
- All Remote Judging - The Initial Team Interviews will be conducted remotely, and Engineering Notebooks will be submitted to judges digitally via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. Initial Interviews and Notebook submission deadlines may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
- Remote Initial Team Interviews / In-Person Engineering Notebooks: Initial Team Interviews will be conducted remotely, possibly before the date of the event. Engineering Notebooks will still be submitted in person the day of the event to be evaluated by judges.
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
