General Info
Placer Robotics VEX League, V5RC MS Division, is for teams in Placer County and nearby communities - the league is by invite only. Please add your team to the Waitling list to be considered for this league.
Here’s is how the league works:
Qualifiers (Ranking Sessions) – Teams must compete in at least 60% of the following qualifying events. All teams are encouraged to participate in all three dates if possible.
League Championship - This is the season finale and will run as a bracketed tournament! Teams will be ranked according to their season records. Alliance selection will be based on rankings. A league champion will be crowned as well as regrional qualifiers. Multiple judged awards will be presented as well.
Skills will be offered Teams are allowed to run up 3 Driver and 3 Programming Skills at each session,
There may not be dedicated practice fields - show up with your robots ready to start matches.
See the event dates in the listing, the first 3 sessions are qualifiers, with Finals held in the 4th session.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Bad weather should not affect this event. In case of a cancellation, the event partner will contact you as early as possible. Teams should make sure their contact information in events.vex.com is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.
Refund and Payment Policies
Payment is expected at the time of registration. Teams who have registered but have not paid or submitted by the event payment deadline will be moved to the waitlist.
If you are registering after the payment deadline, you must complete payment at time of registration or you will be moved to the wait list immediately.
If the event is cancelled, the registration fee will be refunded.
No refunds for teams that withdraw after the payment deadline.
Health and Safety Policies
COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS: None currently. Placer Robotics reserves the right to require masks or limit particiation based on public health conditions at the time of the event.
Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact.
Notebooks due date will be communicated via email.
