Please keep in mind this schedule is tenative. Teams need to be prepared for inspection as soon as they arrive as inspection will close at 9:00AM promptly.

Inspection 8:15 AM - 9:00 AM

Skills runs : 9:15 - end of qualification matches. Closed during lunch. 

Drivers meeting 09:00 AM

Qualifying Matches 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Lunch 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM 

Qualifying matches resume at 12:30 PM and run until all matches are finished (we plan for each team to run 6 matches)

Alliance Selection 1:45 PM

Eliminations 2:00 PM - until finished

Awards and Closing Remarks 3:00 PM

Clean-up 3:30 PM until done

Volunteer

Running a robotics  event takes many volunteers. We are always in need of volunteers to assist the day of the event. Lunches are provided for all volunteers in addition to drinks and snacks the day of the event. 

Volunteers for the event will need to be present by 7:30AM until the end of the event which is normally no later than 3:30PM.

• Volunteers
  • Head referee must be 21 years of age.
    • The head referee must be certified through the VEX Global certification.
• Field reset volunteers are needed and can be in the  range from upper elementary to adult ages. 
• Scorekeepers are needed and ages can range from highschool age 16 to adults ages.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Fairfield County will require the event to be canceled due to inclement weather. Please watch for an update from the event partner if the event must be rescheduled or canceled due to weather. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be issued if event is cancelled by EP. .

If you request to waitlist your team/teams:

Teams will only be moved to the waitlist within 2 weeks of their registration closing date. NO TEAMS WILL BE MOVED TO THE WAITLIST ONCE THE EVENT CLOSES TO REGISTRATION ON EVENTS.VEX.COM.

If a Team completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

refunds will NOT be issued. 

Payment Policy:

Due to the number of teams that register last season and either held their spots without payment or dropped out last minute allowing little to no time for those spots to be filled, we are enforcing a new payment policy for all teams that register. This policy will be strictly enforced. 

Priority Registration:

Teams that register during the early-bird registration period will be required to have a PO on file prior to standard registration opening. Teams that have not updated their account to "PO processing" the the standard registration opening date will be moved to the waiting list. Order must be marked as paid on events.vex.com within 2 weeks of the registration date. Teams that do not have their payment posted within the 2 week allotted window will be moved to the waiting list (Note: Purchase order on file does not count as a paid in full status). Reach out to the event adminstrators if you have any questions. 

Standard Registration: 

All registrations must have a PO on file within 2 weeks of registering for the event. Additionally, registration must be paid in full 2 weeks after the team is registered, unless other arrangements have been made with EP. Unpaid teams will be moved to the Waitlist 2 weeks after registration and may be added back in IF there is room on the roster. If your registration payment process takes longer than two week, clear communication will keep teams from being moved to the Waitlist.  

Judging Format

There will be no judging at the event.
