General Info
We're excited to host our first annual Boo Bach at Seckinger High School! We are planning a unique and fun event with a costume contest for teams/students!
Concessions will be available on site.
Matches and pits will be in the cafeteria with seating for spectators.
Here are a few reminders to address before the event to ensure your team is ready for competition:
1. Make sure your teams have read the most current version of the game manual and are familiar with all the rules. Check the official VEX forums and VEX website for rule updates and changes.
2. Make sure all of your robots will pass inspection.
3. Carefully read all of the information contained in the tournament posting.
4. Pack for the event the day before departure. Here are a few items you don't want to forget:
* Safety Glasses
* Spare parts & tools
* Batteries and chargers
* Programming cable
* Power strip
* Laptop computer
* Engineering notebook
5. Prep for your interviews with the judges.
6. Remember that safety is the number one priority. Please don't bring tools that pose a safety risk to your team or others nearby.
7. Ensure that you have the latest version of firmware.
8. Make sure all participants have completed the release form (once per season).
Please note: This is a public event by attending all attendees consent to being photographed and live streamed as a part of this event.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the case of inclement weather or other unusual circumstances, cancellation/delay decisions will be made based on Gwinnett County Public Schools policy.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Unfortunately we will be unable to provide refunds due to the way payments are processed. However, in the event the EP cancels the event after payment has been made, that money can be applied to a future event hosted by Seckinger High School.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
No refunds will be given.

Our school is located at 3655 Sardis Church Rd., Buford, GA 30519
We are immediately off exit 120 on I-85
Please enter at the light on Sardis Church Rd. and park in the front parking lot.
Buses may drop off at the front of the building and circle around to park in the outside bus lane.
All attendees will enter through the main entrance on the left side of the front of the school. Look for signs.
Judging Format
- All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
