General Info

VEX V5 Robotics Competition "OVERRIDE" SKILLS @ RMS is a Blended event, Middle and High School Teams teams are welcome!  

Registration Information

  • All participating teams must be registered with VEX Events website at events.vex.com and have an official team number before registering for this event.
  • Tournament fees must be paid by Feb. 14. Unpaid teams will be placed on a waiting list.
  • Registration and payments should be made through events.vex.com

Participation and Consent Form

  • A completed form for all participants must be uploaded to events.vex.com prior to the tournament. Team leaders will need to check that all team members attending the event have completed the online consent form prior to the tournament.

Competition Preparation

  • All teams should come prepared for competition, and Robots "Inspection ready" 
  • Bring a 10 ft (or longer) extention cord for charging.
  • An email will be sent to all coaches with detailed information about this event. 

Lunch and Concessions

  • Offered by RMS PTSO. More information will be emailed to coaches.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Coaches will be notified by email if event should be cancelled due to bad weather or other emergency. 

Refund and Payment Policies

  • Refunds will be issued in the cases of an event cancellation.
  • No refunds will be issued to "no show" teams.
  • Tournament fees must be paid by Feb. 20 Unpaid teams will be placed on a waiting list.​
